The Hoover Steamvac silver home steam vacuum gives you the convenience of steam cleaning without the rental hassle. It works well on upholstery, rugs, carpets and even bare floors. A strong 12-amp motor keeps five different brushes spinning at two different speeds to clean up all the dirt and grime that gets tracked onto your carpets. Even stubborn stains and high traffic areas respond to the steamvac’s Clean Surge feature, which shoots an extra amount of cleaner into the stain with the ease of pressing a button.
The Hoover Steamvac silver is perfect for cleaning up spots or stains all over your home. Two tanks of water are built in… the first to hold your clean water, and the second to hold the dirty water that is vacuumed up from your rug. When you’ve finished cleaning, the steamvac sends hot air into the path of the vacuum so you can do a few dry passes over the stains.
For upholstery or stairs, the Hoover Steamvac silver features an 8 foot long hose with a special nozzle to help scrub stains. Another nozzle is specialized to help clean bare floors, while yet another gives you a powered hand tool that is perfect to use on furniture or small areas of carpet. The tools are kept handily on the front of the steamvac. An indicator light will let you know when the brushes are spinning, and they are removable for easy cleaning. The on/off switch is located on the bottom as a foot pedal. There is also a handle release pedal. Initial assembly is easy to do, and the manual has good directions for those unfamiliar with carpet cleaners. The silver color looks nice and professional.
